Hi everyone this is Anna from Koala Soap and today I'm going to be making just a real basic
0:19
whipped soap recipe using Sharon of the Rose Soaperies Wonder Whip 100% Real Cream Soap. I
0:27
I purchased this from Sharon. She did not send it to me, but I always like to find other ways to supplement my soap gift giving or selling. So we're going to go ahead and give this product a shot. I've already tried one and as you can see, Kaylin loved it. She took it. We're going to try some more
0:44
I'm going to take out 16 ounces. We're going to tear this. We're going to put in 16 ounces. And it says we need to warm it until all the clumps disappear. So in 10 to 20 seconds spurts. So just like melt and pour base until it reaches about 100 and 160 degrees
1:03
And then we're going to take it out and we're going to go ahead and mix it you can use a table mixer
1:08
That's fine. I just don't know that a lot of people have table mixers. I have one, but
1:12
I'm going to actually just do it with this it should double in size. So I have
1:18
16 ounces, so I have four of these eight ounce I think we can have some fun with me trying to pipe today because you know that's going to be a disaster
1:25
But that's okay. I need practice We're going to be using Cosmic Blue by Stardust Mica and then Just Mica to try to keep it a little bit white
1:34
I have my thermal gun. We're going to go ahead and get everything ready and we'll be right back
1:41
Okay, so I think we pretty much have all the clumps out. We are at..
1:48
So we're at a good temperature. I already added the preservative in and it was Optifin
1:55
and I added 1% so 16 ounces so I added 1% of that and we're going to go ahead and we'll do our
2:05
we'll do our scent next and then we'll start blending in actually you know I'm going to
2:11
start blending it up first and then we'll add our scent in Thank you
6:06
okay so at this time what I'm going to do is I'm going to break this into two and then I half it
6:29
so i can put color into one of them and we'll whip it a little bit more
7:52
Okay, so let's see what we have here
8:19
A little bit of a mess for sure. Thank you
10:19
okay so as per usual the piping turned out to be somewhat of a disaster but that's okay I
10:32
refilled it and we're gonna fill these two and see if I get any better with practice this the
10:39
consistency is kind of light and airy I don't want to say that though because each of these
10:46
weighs a little over eight now so we'll be keeping it it's it's pretty nice it's
10:53
good it's actually better than the the foaming bath with a real light one it's
11:00
kind of in the middle between that and Stephenson if that makes any sense so what we do is we go ahead and hope this doesn burst out of the bag
12:49
okay so this one i would have had a full eight ounces on i want you to see how it
12:54
stays okay so we're done and we have the labels on them and so we use the same label
13:01
So the way I did this was how we showed you in the video about labeling your soaps
13:06
And what I did was I just took Sharon's, her ingredients, and I put it on here
13:11
I'm just labeling this whipped soap, if you can see it. That way I can give a couple of our neighbors some of these too
13:20
So we were able to, had I not messed one little part up all over the place, we would have gotten four eight ounces
13:28
so 16 ounces of Sharon's it pretty much doubled okay this is what I did probably a few weeks ago
13:39
and you can see it's kept its shape very well now what you do is if you don't have
13:46
the water safe stickers that they sell on Amazon what I did with this one just to test it is I put
13:53
just a piece of packing tape over this label so you can't really see it so
13:59
that's what I would suggest you do if you're just starting out with this so this is just the sharing's recipe for her whip soap and then we're gonna go
14:07
ahead and we'll test some other formulas and recipes you know throughout the
14:11
summer anyway this is Anna from Cola soap I hope you enjoyed this video and
14:16
we'll see you next week
